I moved to New Orleans during the pandemic to write poetry for French Quarter wanderers. Other than writing I love analog photography, making things by hand, and playing music.
There’s nothing quite like the feeling of connecting deeply with someone you’ve just met and writing them a poem that brings out their emotions and let’s them experience a tactile piece of paper that expresses their inner world.
In my writing, I explore intersectional feminism, ageism, and my love affair with the environment amidst its ever-present degradation.
I have a BA in English Lit and Environmental Studies from Washington College. My biggest poetic influences are Lucille Clifton, Joy Harjo, Ada Limón, Mary Oliver, Louise Glück, and Lawrence Ferlinghetti.
